WE ARE NOT DIFFERENT CIC is a UK\u2011based Community Interest Company dedicated to protecting autistic and Down syndrome children from harmful stereotypes and abusive exorcism practices disguised as religion or tradition. We believe children are never the problem \u2014 society\u2019s harmful perceptions are. Our mission is to dismantle these misconceptions and replace them with truth, dignity, and evidence\u2011based understanding.<\/p>

We exist to ensure every child is safe, valued, and embraced for who they are. Our mission is to challenge and dismantle harmful stereotypes that dehumanise autistic and Down syndrome children, including dangerous exorcism rituals that mislabel neurodiversity as \u2018demonic\u2019. We replace fear with understanding, stigma with dignity, and misinformation with evidence based awareness. Through advocacy, education, and community empowerment, we ensure every child is protected, valued, and embraced.
